Aadeo Foundation

A donation and impact platform built around transparency.

Role
Web design, Development, Accessibility
Stack
Next.js, Sanity CMS

01Problem

Aadeo's impact was real but hard to see. Financials lived in a downloadable annual report few visitors opened, and there was no direct line from making a donation to understanding what it funded.

02Research

Comparable nonprofit sites we reviewed leaned on aggregate statistics — dollars raised, people served — which visitors tend to treat with skepticism. Individual, specific stories performed better at building trust. Accessibility also had to be foundational rather than an afterthought, given the breadth of the foundation's donor base.

03Solution

A donation flow placed directly alongside specific, sourced impact stories, a transparent breakdown of where funds go, and accessibility treated as a build requirement from the first component rather than a pre-launch audit item.

04Process

We worked directly with the foundation to source and structure real impact stories before building any templates, then ran accessibility checks throughout development rather than as a single pass at the end.

05Technical implementation

Next.js with Sanity CMS so the foundation's own team can publish new impact stories without engineering involvement, built to WCAG conformance with a semantic, keyboard-navigable donation flow.

06Outcome

Donors get a direct, specific line from contribution to outcome, and the foundation can keep the site current without depending on us for every update.
